PokerStars has announced that they will be hosting the PokerStars Baltic Festival October 28 to 31 in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn. The €1,100 buy-in four day event is expected to yield a prize pool of at least several hundred thousand Euros. Though the side events schedule has not yet been released organizers expect to have several side events going so players can get in as much poker action as they can handle.

Players can qualify to the PokerStars Baltic Festival on PokerStars.com. Qualifiers start as low as $2.20 and there are also freerolls for those wishing to take a free shot at winning a prize package.

“We have hundreds of thousands of poker players in the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Russia but so far there have only been a few attractive live tournaments,” said Tomas Larsson, PokerStars Country Manager for Finland and the Baltics.

“Our ambition with this festival is to create the ultimate live poker experience similar to what players find at the most prestigious events in the world like the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas and the European Poker Tour’s Grand Final in Monte Carlo, combining a luxurious venue with the best live poker in the Baltics.”
