The PokerStars.com EPT London Poker Festival will take place between September 30th and October 7th at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in London. Stars is billing it as the biggest EPT event ever consisting of 16 events including the three-day EPT London £20k High Roller, the £5k EPT London Main Event and the first-ever £2k European 8-Game Championship as well as a £500 8-Game event, a £1k Pot Limit Omaha High-Low event, a £1k No Limit 6-Max event and a £2k PLO event.
The main event will be a 5000 + 250 GBP and will be capped at 800 players. That seems like a doable number considering last year’s event had a staggering field of nearly 600 players. Last year’s main event winner took home a cool 1 million pounds.
