Simon Watt Wins APPT Auckland Main Event

apptSimon Watt outlasted 263 other players to capture the APPT Auckland Main Event title. His $3250 buy-in earned him a tad over $200,000.

Since Russia has cracked down on gambling in the country forcing all casinos to shut down in Moscow, Poker Stars was forced to relocate its European Poker Tour Moscow event. The new location will be in Kiev, Ukraine. The event will take place from August 18-23 and will feature a €5,000 Main Event.
